My critique with Kevin went very well! He was super-complimentary and encouraging, which was great. Two weeks ago, at our last crit, he said he couldn't "trust" me (to get my work done in time), and that really put me off. Yesterday he brought it up again, saying he could trust me now. I told him that it wasn't HIS place to trust ME--as my teacher he should be working to make ME trust HIM. BAM.
It felt good. :)
I also have a soft ground etching of an eaten grapefruit going into a show soon! A lot of good things going on--a nice reminder from God that I'll be FINE, despite a little bit of heartache.
I haven't eaten a THING today, however, so I'm going to remedy that. (4 pm, I know--shame on me!)
