Another Weird Dream.

The night before last, I dreamt that I was on a bus with Sarah Coleman--who was with me in Italy--for some sort of trip. We passed one house--I saw a creepy, bug-eyed man in a light blue shirt the front window, and a split-second later he was in the doorway. A ghost.

I pointed it out to Sarah as the bus parallel-parked in front of the house--he was in the doorway, then his image jumped into the window again. We got off the bus as the sun was setting, and we saw the same phenomena happen as we walked by. Window, door. Freaked out, we averted our eyes and scurried past the hedge that lined the edge of the property. I glanced back.

A scarf-sized square of black fabric was floating out from behind the hedge, following us. I turned away again, trying to ignore it. A few moments later, I looked again. It was gone. I touched my hair--the scarf had settled onto my head like a veil. It was white now, and edged in lace.

We rounded a corner, and I found myself at an outdoor funeral that looked like a wedding. All the women had the veils.

And then I woke up. Creepy.

Bad dreams.

I had two terrible dreams last night--if you follow my Twitter, you've already heard them:

In the first, which woke me at 5:30 AM, a girl my age comes to live with me and my family, and she has these awful, wet wounds on her throat and chest. She tells us it was a result of a wedding ceremony she performed at age 9 with the cult she belonged to--she had to make this reed and seagrass bib kind of thing that rotted away the skin on her chest, neck, and parts of her face. There were still pieces of the plants in the wound. :/ At one point, I tried to pull out the plants to clean it, and felt my own jaw start to blacken and rot--but I knew I was only feeling her disgust and pain. She was as sweet as anything, although she refused to see a doctor.

The second dream, which woke me an hour and a half later, is one I've had before. I start in a church, in the second row. I'm with my family and friends, and there's a group of guys in the row ahead of me. One looks back--he's a cute redhead with glasses and a beard (so indie :P)--and winks. I blush. For some reason, it's a 24-hour church service that starts at midnight. The group of guys goes to leave, and ask if we (my friends and I) intend to stay the whole time. I can't leave, so I watch them go (regretfully). Once they leave, however, I get the powerful feeling that they're going to die.

There's an in-between part that indicates some kind of X2-style mind control that causes under-thirties intense pain, but I can't remember much.

Now I'm in the house I lived in in eighth grade, on the street I lived on in sixth. I'm in my old bedroom with a female friend and her boyfriend, looking out the window at a blonde man in his early thirties. He's carrying a massive bow with arrows, waiting. My friend's boyfriend goes down to him--is he an ally? But it's too late for me to stop him--the blonde man shoots him, then looks up to see us in the window. He starts climbing up toward us, and I exit the other window, hoping my friend is close behind. I'm being chased by stocky guy in his mid-forties--he has a chainsaw (even in the dream I was like "Chainsaw, really?"). He chases me down by the first Sewickley house I moved into at age five, into my then-neighbor's back yard. The neighbor's three black dogs slow him, thankfully, and I hide behind a stone wall that faces the porch. Unfortunately for yours truly, he sees me behind the wall and says hello, even as I give him the universal "I'M NOT HERE." sign. I take off and try to hurdle over the fence, chainsaw guy feet behind me.

I woke up then, breathing hard. So upsetting. :( I hate bad dreams, especially when it seems I'm always getting chased.

WHY.

WHY don't I have the extra $60 to bid on this freaking gorgeous dress that I would look hot in?

SRSLY. :(

I am spoiled. I need to shut up.

Muah,

I Dreamed A Dream (I originally typed "I dread")

'Dread' is a more accurate description of the dream I had last night. Or, well, today, actually, as I went to sleep at around 6:30 AM.

It was mostly about the guy I liked freshman year, Ian--he showed me a lot of notes and papers and journals he wrote, most of them concerning his current girlfriend, who he'd nicknamed "Singles" in the letters, which is an intensely Ian thing to do.

One paper was dated August 6, 2008 (it may've been 2007 though), and it said that 'Singles' had gotten pregnant, and they'd had an abortion. :( There was literally a frown face. Then it went on to address the child, saying that Ian would always love him or her, and I lost it in the dream--I put my arms around Ian's middle and sobbed, saying "I'm so sorry for your baby. I'm so sorry" over and over.

And then I woke up in the midst of dry sobs. I haven't awoken in actual sobs for almost four years.

The thing is, I'd heard that they'd aborted a baby. I'd heard it somewhere before, distinctly. I thought maybe Ian had said it. I had a slightly fuzzy image in my mind of Ian, sitting on Robin's couch and telling us that Eileen had gotten pregnant, but they'd had it aborted.

But I don't think that was real. I think I dreamed that too. Why am I dreaming about Ian's not-real aborted baby? Why more than once? And why August 6th?

Weird.

Also, more roommate drama has unfolded--Jen and Ryan have stopped hooking up because Jen is emotionally attached (that's what sex will do, moron), and now Betsy is flirting like hell and Jen is mega-jealous. Robin and I feel this would be best settled by me making out with Ryan and him making out with Jen. :P

Okay, love you guys. Hope you're all doing awesomely. :)
